Thanks to Ginger I got to know that Steven’s going to be a guest on CSI:Miami in episode 7×19 called ‘Target Specific’.

This will air on March 23rd in the US.

Also, I could finally make some screencaps from ‘The Nine’ which I will upload to the fan gallery soon DONE! The episode called ‘You re being watched’ has already shown on Kabel 1 (Germany) in November 2008… so, well, you can see I’m a little behind the schedule (but at least I could bring the new message board online).

The next I’m going to do is to make screencaps from the Shark episode and if everything goes as planned I should get the ‘Mistresses’ DVD on March 30.

The new year has started well for Steven’s fans in Germany, because we finally had the ‘Shark’  episode ‘In Absentia’ (with Steven playing the lead guest part Eli Weber) on TV and we’re going to upload some screencaps from the episode to the gallery soon. The German title was ‘Abgetaucht’ and here you find the description.

Also, we’ve gotten some information about a project Steven made at the end of 2008: ‘Mistresses‘ is a BBC show starring Sarah Parish, Orla Brady, Sharon Small and Shelley Conn. Steven plays in the second series Jack Hudson, a surgeon and old friend of Katie’s (played by Sarah Parish). They come back together after many years while working at the same hospital. There are six episodes in the series and Steven is in all of them!! It should air in the UK in February or March 2009.

There’s still no new news or a release date set for ‘Say it in Russian’, but we can expect ‘The Human Contract’ to be released this year.

As stated in my last post I had the great opportunity to watch XII as part of a film festival in a theater in Hamburg on Thursday. What can I say… Steven on the big screen? It is something that you really shouldn’t miss and I knew I HAD to do this trip, because I’d never seen him on a cinema screen before! Besides that the movie was shown with its original language (what’s pretty uncommon here in Germany as we usually get everything dubbed) and so it was a double highlight.

Before you ask: no, there was neither cast, nor crew, nor red carpet, but I didn’t expect that anyway.

To my mind XII is one of these typical yet well done blood-and-splatter movies and if you’re not used to watch such kind of horror films you should better have strong nerves before you buy a ticket. Btw, tickets are rare as XII will only be shown once per city during this festival. Further screenings will take place a. o. in Cologne, Frankfurt and Munich (click here to see full schedule).

When you watch it very carefully and stop it almost in the middle – after about 1 minute runtime – you might spot Steven, although it’s only a second or two (he’s wearing beard and white clothes – take a look at this post’s icon, it might help to spot him as it shows the scene ;) ).
